Elena Baydina (aka Anoriel) is a Chicagoland-based artist, illustrator and author with background in Psychology and Education. Her inspiration comes from fairy tales, fantasy stories, myths and legends.

The goal of the artist is to creatively display a story through the glass of imagination and capture the enchantment of dissociated reality. Her passion for art has developed through her work with children and interest in Art Therapy.  Elena works with different mediums, including watercolor, oil, gauche, pencils, ink, artist pens, pastel, digital applications, coffee, and pretty much everything that can be used for drawing and creating.

The work displayed today at the website is not a complete collection of the actual artwork Elena has created. Each piece has its own story, while you may notice the way some them talk to others.
