Provincial Gardens is a collection of small oil paintings inspired by long, unhurried walks in early autumn, somewhere beyond the city, where old houses stand behind gardens grown lush and slightly wild. Water lilies, magnolias, swans drifting across still ponds, entwined flowers, hand-written notes passed secretly, and glimpses of encounters among the blooms evoke the romantic gardens that might have surrounded an old provincial estate. Painted with a subtle retro sensibility, the collection feels like fragments of a place remembered rather than visited - quiet, intimate, and suspended somewhere between summer and fall.
