Elena Baydina (aka Anoriel) is a San Francisco-residing artist, author and teacher with Slavic roots.
Elena’s art was born on the cusp of three realms: her education work, degree in psychology and artistic ability.
Born in the midst of the cold December, she must have captured some magic of winter, since most of her artwork is filled with deeper meaning, inviting to explore archetypes and wisdom of the old.
Elena works with different mediums, including watercolor, oil, gauche, pencils, ink, artist pens, pastel, coffee, and pretty much everything that can be used for drawing and creating.

Abstract Autumn class access allows you to join a 2-hour journey of watercolor, acrylics, gold leaf and other materials. In this class, you can pour your memory of fall onto the canvas.

Remember when you were a child, and playing with paints was just something magical? The class I recorded has exactly that spark of excitement when you sit down to paint, explore new materials, and simply enjoy the process - no experience required.
We have so many responsibilities and daily chores; I wanted to create an escape where painting happens for the joy of it, which brings me to the next point… Abstract Autumn is a safe space for playing with acrylics, watercolor, salt, and gold leaf all in one class, which would help you discover which material speaks the most to you. This class is a perfect reason to allow experimentation and discovery to happen.
On top of it all, we only have a certain amount of seasons in our lives, and it is sad to just let them swing by without capturing the colors, feelings, and reflections of this season in your life, preserved in paint. Allow yourself to be where you are: inhale autumn and exhale it onto the canvas. We will create an autumnal foggy landscape, which will compliment your interior or become a great gift.
